Idle battery drain in S24 Ultra

Battery drain when idle on my S24 Ultra is very disappointing. Also when the charger is connected it shows fast charging and after 3-4 seconds it switches to Normal Charging. And also the charging takes more time that it shows.

Are you talking about the message displayed going from "Fast charging" to "Charging"?

If yes, then that is how it has been. If you open settings you can see that it is still using fast charging.

Yes, In the front screen it switches to "Charging". But even if it shows fast charging inside, it takes more time than usual to charge. Try putting a timer equal to the time shows, for charging you will understand.

It has been that way for me with both Samsung and iPhone charging adapters used with the cable which came in the box.

Are you seeing this after the update? I have noticed battery drain issue but no noticeable difference in charging speed.

Also I tried connecting to Macbook, starts with Fast charging and switches to Normal after 3secs.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue and wait for next update may be fix it by Samsung team soon.
