I recently got my Galaxy S22. In my previous device, I also used to lock WhatsApp via app inbuilt lock. It can be unlocked via only fingerprint. In Galaxy S22, WhatsApp can be unlocked by Screen lock pin & face Id. I want to lock WhatsApp via either different pin lock or only fingerprint lock. How it can be done ?

You can do it from WhatsApp app itself
Go to WhatsApp > settings > privacy > app lock
If this helpful to you, please accept this as solution

I did this. But I want to set different pin for WhatsApp. (Other than screen lock pin)

Currently, WhatsApp can be unlocked via screen lock pin.

How to open Hidden apps in S22. In MIUI it was by "pinching out" action on the home screen. But I am unable to find hidden apps in one ui.

As my knowledge, you cannot use app while it is hidden, you have to unhide that app to use that
Another option is to open the hidden app, search it in playstore and open it from there

It's secure folder. Add the app you want to use it inside secure folder.

There's no separate applock in ONEUI. You can use secure folder
