How to change the default USB connection settings on Samsung galaxy s9+

The galaxy s9+ has a  problem. When you connected to any device  by default the file transfer option is given instead of charging.
This makes me anxious coz if some one connects the phone to another device  it will by default  open  instead of having the charging  option. If the system  have any virus  or malware  it might be a potential  danger to my phone.

even though it's connected in file transfer mode, without unlocking the phone no one can see what's inside internal storage

agreed but if I am using my phone and connect it to the laptop or desktop... then my device will be vulnerable I feel it is safe if we have the setting to charging by default and then if the user needs to use it for file transfer then they can change the settings...

if u feel it's vulnerable , then enable developer option and once in developer option look for default usb configuration.

tried that but the app keeps crashing once I set the defaults to charging

weird ..might be bug in pie...this pie update really ruined this beast. I am about to downgrade to Oreo. backing up my files now .
