If your Samsung Galaxy S25 is frozen, laggy, or completely unresponsive, you can safely resolve the issue by performing a forced restart or soft reset.
Force restart steps
To unfreeze a completely unresponsive device:
Locate buttons: Find the Volume Down key and the Side/Power key on the right edge of the device.Press and hold: Press and hold both buttons simultaneously.Wait for blackout: Keep holding the buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, ignoring the power menu that appears on-screen.Release: Once the screen goes completely black, release both buttons. The device will automatically reboot, and you will see the Samsung logo.
