Recently updated the August patch and Boom!!! Horizontal line appeared at display after the update.

The same thing happened to my s24 ultra , faced a horrible situation, blackout, b&w dance & finally pale yellow blank display 🙂

i am not a fan at all. Just trying to understand if it really started with s24 series . Its concerning 😟.
I recently bought s24 ultra.

Better if you take the protection plans ie Smart Plus with the device else if the thing happens after warranty period then it would be difficult for free repairs as the brand is Samsung

Mine happened just one month after 1 year warranty expires 🙃
