If you have a Samsung Galaxy s24 series smartphone running on one UI 6.1 you may have noticed that the gallery screen appears bright or trembles slightly when viewing some photos. This is because of the Super HDR feature, which adjusts the display brightness to match the photo quality.

Super HDR is a feature that makes the photos look more realistic and detailed by enhancing the contrast and colors. However, some users may find the Super HDR feature annoying or distracting, as it causes the screen to change brightness and shake slightly.

To fix the Gallery screen brightness issue, you just need to go to the Gallery app >> Tap on More option>> Click on Settings >> Select Super HDR feature >> Toogle it off.

By turning off the Super HDR feature, you will see the photos as they were originally captured, without any brightness adjustment. You can also turn it back on anytime you want to enjoy the enhanced photo quality.

It still brightens videos and sometimes photos. Iweh. I select a video, for a split second it's like the thumbnail and then brightness intensity goes up automatically. This Super HDR is just another extra brightness notch.

Turning it off doesn't fix the issue

I do not see any Super HDR feature/option in my Gallery Settings. I am using S23 FE. Still, my gallery app brightens the screen drastically for some videos.
