I really love this galaxy s9 I have performance design and all. The battery is a slight below avg but not big issue for me.Its not terribly bad.
The real issue is the stand by time specifically if turn on mobile internet data
1-4% per hour loss (depending on coverage) without using it. AOD LOCATION BLUETOOTH WIFI all off.
With airplane mode on around 1%loss in two hours.Even in mid range phones if u turn on airplane  mode and don't use battery loss will be around 1-2%in a day.
I was expecting  this September, when the new update came for india exynos version came Samsung will fix it.
But but nothing changed

I hope Samsung will read this message and try to give its customers a good service with the next update. Many people are switching to one plus and Huawei because of this battery issues Samsung has forgotten to focus on.

As for me, I got this from my work place colleague for 19k inr (so cheap I can ignore the small battery issue) and he switched to one plus two months ago.

Key note: Battery is not that bad but, the stand by is horrible both with mobile data and airplane  mode. Please work on this Samsung  and good luck!

after lot of searching in internet I have come to know that its becoz of poor modem in exynos chipset. I hope they provide snapdragon chipset for all around the globe until they have perfected their home baked chipset. Else it's like experimenting on flagship phones zz

You could try to disable Google Location History, certainly made a big difference for me...

I have done all of it google location history disable, tried all the things recommended in YouTube.factory reset and clear cache also.No effect.
I even ran the phone on safe mode so I can confirm the issue is not related to any third party apps
