Since couple of month, post installing feb/mar security update my mobile s20 FE 5g heats a lot when ever mobile display is in use.
Sometime temperature reaches to 44c.
Even factory reset had not made any difference so today I visited to Samsung service center and shown my device.
They mentioned it's software issue, and charged 295rs to perform software installation ( don't know exactly what changes they made ). However even now the device temperature remain on high side.
Looking at multiple post from many members it seem Samsung purposefully made this trip to force people buy new device or visit service center for additional income.

iam also facing lot of issues with s24 ultra from last update, my phone also heating at 43 degree.. i done reseting and formating also.. no use battery drain and heavy heat, i showed service centre, they refused to even hold my phone, tells u will get patch update soon. it will get ready soon😬

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue and wait for next update may be fix it by Samsung team soon. No, the issue was not diagnosed.

More over it is a scam that you people are doing to earn extra money, as i am not a single person facing this problem, and it started only after perform security patch install released by you guys.. so its all your fault.. be the device in warranty and out of warranty.

More over i was said the cost of software installation is 236 initally.. but actually they charged 296. #scam #scammaster

Hello all, its been more than 20 days even after software reinstallation by samsung service center heating issue remained same.

So i decided to take control in my hand and started oberving pattern n heating issue.. so eventually i discovered i get problem more when i am using instagram application... (even for 15-20 min).. i coould also see in battery n application usage instagram being most battery consumer and remain active in background.

So i decided to uninstall instagram app. And surprisingly no more heating issue. Even if i use youtube or orther video streaming application.
I believe it was something wrong code which was causing problem.
Note _ i dont have instagram installed on my samsung device now.
