Galaxy S
If I am not wrong those who have greenline on their galaxy screen most probably used screen protectors and turned on this "Touch Sensitivity" features? Just a general assumption it increases screen voltage and cause damage to the panel. I can be wrong but its verymuch likely I am not as I have seen people who use screen protectors gets greenline faster?!

Hope Samsung Find this post and look into this. People from Asian countries tend to use screen protectors to make their device last longer so they turn on this "Screen Sensitivity" features which increases the screen voltage cause display panel damage. Thats why its became so common. On the other hand tech reviews dont get the greenline after hours of testing because they never put screen protectors and never turned on this feature. Its clearly uncontrolled voltage problem in the screen that damages the panel. Thats why even after update when phone restarts screen runs to reach the max voltage to increase the sensitivity and gets the greenline.

On Samsung phones, the Touch Sensitivity toggle:
Increases the touch digitizer’s responsiveness.
It doesn't increase display voltage or stress the OLED panel itself.
The green line problem (seen on some Galaxy devices) is usually linked to:
🔸️AMOLED panel defects or degradation
🔸️Display driver IC (DDIC) issues
🔸️Physical stress / heat over time
🔸️Software bugs in rare cases (but usually hardware)
This has been reported even on phones:
🔸️without screen protectors
🔸️without touch sensitivity. enabled.
It's just a Hypothesis.
The green line issue is almost always a panel-level hardware problem, not caused by user settings.

It's not due to screen protector use. I've been using S23 for 3 years with a screen protector and haven't faced a green line till now. It's because of a Scamsung manufacturing fault. They were using some bad quality adhesive in it which degrades with heat after some years and disconnects the flex cable from screen. Also, it happens more in places with high humidity and heat. Also they have fixed this in s24 and onwards series.
