I bought new s20+ 4 days before. And when I change the resolution to 120 Hz the color of the screen shifts and a green tint/layer appears and disappears when I change back to 60 Hz.
I have attached the video proof for the same issue.

Please let me know if is it a software issue or hardware? Anyone else is facing the same issue. I am in one UI 2.5.

This issue can be prominent in grey screen and also at medium to low brightness.

Then return the phone or take it to a service centre ASAP.
I have been fighting with Samsung over my defective S20+ display for over two months now.
I would suggest return this phone if possible. exynos 990 is not a good chipset 20200811_031501_2619.jpg

Yeah I read your post too. Mine isn't that noticeable though yours is clearly a defective screen .I can return the product via flipkart but they will provide me replacement no option for refund. Anyways I bought this phone under smart upgrade plan so I am planning to keep this for a year and then exchange it with the upcoming Samsung s series flagship. Anyways I'll visit the service center ones . Hope they won't act blind to my claim.

If you are okay with the overheating even after resolving your display issue sure go ahead and keep it. But don't let this display problem slip away.

yeah sure I won't leave this as it is. overheating has been reduced or barely i find it, after I did a factory reset and removed most of the bloatware. but then I don't have option to refund 😕 as per the policy of flipkart . So no other choice just to use it for a year and exchange with s21 plus. I'll update once I visit the service center.

it's a new phone, it will start overheating once you start using it in routine and there's no escape to that. I've realized this after trying everything in the last 8 months of ownership

i think flipkart and Samsung have put this no refund policy on purpose because the units are defective and they just wanted to get rid of them by selling at lower prices

flipkart policy is been there from so long . I normally don't buy phones from flipkart , I prefer Amazon, hands down they are way better with customer support and return policies. I just bought because of this low price and feel like I am getting trapped 🙃 but looking at the issue I faced now feels like this was the reason to sell at such low price 😅 and the exynos. I wanted to actually get OP8 Pro even that has hell lot of display issues and to my bad luck I get even the Samsung with the same 🙃2020 ( good year )😂
