I’m using a Samsung S21 FE (Snapdragon 888) bought in Feb 2024. Yesterday, a horizontal green line appeared on the display without any damage or drop. The service centre said Samsung only replaces vertical line issues. Kindly confirm if horizontal lines are also covered under the free screen replacement policy, as this seems software-related.

I am facing the same issue in my s22 ultra.
Visited service centre and they are asking me to change the screen for 24k.
After an update on 7 oct of oneui 8 i faced the issue on 15th oct.
They told me that your device purchase date is 14th oct 2022 and it is not under 3 year so you need to pay.
I am smelling a scam here.
Dont by or recommend samsung phones to anyone bro..
They are scheming.
Atlest oneplus has taken the action for lifetime Warranty on green line issue.
It caused by software update.
So samsung needs to take this seriously.
Multiple of my friend have faced this issue.
This is the support we are getting.
Thanks samsung 🙏🙏1761419202594.jpg

Samsung offers free screen replacements for some Galaxy phones under specific circumstances, primarily related to a known green line display issue.

Conditions
(e.g., 3 years from purchase) and without physical or water damage.

Limited to certain models and regions, including the Galaxy S21 series, S21 FE, S22 Ultra, and extended to S23 as well due to the growing number of users facing the green line issue on their devices.

The offer is valid until 31st December 2025

If you find this helpful, I'd appreciate it if you could ACCEPT it as a SOLUTION. Thank you 😊
