If it's an S series phone, it doesn't matter if you have a warranty period or not.

I have the same issue as of day before on my S22 Ultra. Visited the service center in India and they say I have to pay for the screen replacement. Buy an expensive phone, take extended warranty, but just two weeks from when warranty ends, the green line shows up and now I gotta pay. Hugely disappointed.
