Got a permanent vertical green line on my Samsung

S22 Ultra after updating. I was watching an uploaded web series, and suddenly a green line appeared on the screen. Even after multiple restarts, it's still there. I visited the service center, and they are saying that this isn't due to software because S22 Ultra phones usually get horizontal lines near the camera, and I have a vertical line.

Immediately take it to the authorized service centre. It happened with my S22 Ultra as well.
If the device is less than 3 years old and you have the genuine bill, they replace the screen free of cost.
I had to pay some logistics charges of ₹450

I already did it and raised the request. The device is not older than three years old, but they are still saying that the S22 Ultra gets a horizontal line near the camera, and my device got a vertical line. So, they will check and let me know, and also they found a minor scratch on the aluminum body frame and are saying that this is physical damage and not due to a software update.

It is very dangerous for us to own such expensive phones! Somehow I escaped this time! I am really in fear, when my phone will get another issue!

Basically they are Samsung as whole company is fraud/scammers.

If there is no visible sign of physical damage, then they should accept for sure

There is one minor dent which is not even clearly visible. They really looked carefully to find that to avoid a free replacement. If I get denied because of that reason, I am going to consumer court.

You can try a different service centre if the first one rejects!
