Green line issue after update to one ui 7

Dear care,

With regrate 2 days back i receive a update in my s22 ultra .Post doing that one vertical green line appress in the screen.

I visited to the care in lucknow the guy sitting agrees that the issue is not a hardware issue .

But denied to replace the screen as per screen replacement policy,reason behind as per him such replacement will be cover only if the phone have no scratches and dent.

Just want to ask a phone with 2 years of use might get scratches due to multiple reason,
And if the care person is himself saying that the issue happen due to software then why such policy for replacement.

Better will be you don't release such policy where we are marking such condition.

Even if i wish to replace by my own ,parts were not available. Even to evaluate the phone they charge a amout.

I was planning to buy s25 ultra but now coz of such responce from service centre, My faith on samsung is no more.

Samsung's Update Damaged My Phone – Thousands Affected!

 

Long-time Samsung user here – from Galaxy S Duos to S2. But after the recent One UI 7 update, my phone developed the infamous green line issue. Service center visit on 19.05.2025 confirmed: the issue is due to the software update. Still, they denied support just because my phone is slightly over 3 years old – by less than 2 months!

 

🔍 Why are only out-of-warranty phones affected?

 

I seriously suspect a Trojan-like or buggy update intentionally or negligently targeting older devices to force upgrades. This could amount to digital sabotage

I have the same **bleep** issue and the same exact reasons and also that my phone is over 3 years old. I am trying to escalate it. Did you receive any feedback update regarding this?

No bro.they told me replacement will be on cost basis.and won't able to provide sureity that it won't came again with such update
