Google voice wake up not responding

I experienced some kind of gripe with gemini on my samsung S24 Ultra. It does not respond to hey Google or ok google and I did a number of clearing cache,retrained the assistant. Luckily I got a temp fix until gemini gets more stability, I set the gemini app to keep open on background and now I,don't have any problems,I hope this helps. Similarly you can do this with assistant app and Google respectively if you prefer google assistant.

Gemini AI does not wake up with Hey or OK Google. You can use Bixby. I have found it better than Google Assistant. Or you can change it back to Google Assistant. I can assist with that.

I really dislike bixby,because most of the time it says I do not understand! It's great for phone functions or to change phone settings,but it fails at stuff like home automation like turning on my pumps and lights, It randomly wakes up to the voice of other men ,normally when we have a meeting with " I don't understand" and embarrassed me a lot of times. It's also not not working on android auto,google assistant and gemini works better on android auto. I had google assistant, but gemini is more natural and you can have a conversation with gemini live

To keep gemini keep open in background lock is been great,and now it responds to voice wake up without failing! I can also hold in the power button to wake up gemini for assistance
