I had the same issue, on S22 Ultra...the problem was that I selected it but didn't appear on the home but now working
But before I had the option to customize but now it's gone but weirdly it remained the old customization)))
It remained pink as I had costumized when was not working to add on the home, and now is missing the setting button which was there by which you were choosing color, transparency and angles Screenshot_20221030_153449_One UI Home.jpg

For some reason even if u dont use that launcher and disabled it...after recent 5.0 update its surfaced and sneaking into unwelcomed territory. Classic Samsung behaviour

Facing this issue on my S22, whenever I try to place the search bar widget it redirects me to search bar customisation and then does nothing!

Dear Samsung member,

Greetings from Samsung customer support.

We acknowledge your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and will surely assist you regarding the same and please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

Clear cache:
Open Settings>Choose Apps>Select Manage apps>App Manager or All apps>Open your launcher from the list of apps>Open Storage>Clear cache and data.

Step 1. Tap and hold an empty spot on the Home screen.
Step 2. Tap Widgets on the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Select your desired widget, e.g. the Clock widget.
Step 4. Select the type of the widgets and then tap Add.
Step 5. You may need to choose additional settings for the widget.
Step 6. The widget that you have selected is displayed on the Home screen.

To relocate the widget on the Home screen, tap and hold the widget, move it to the desired location, and then release it to place it in that location.
To remove the widget on the Home screen, tap and hold the widget, and then select Remove. Removing the widget does not delete the app settings.

Edit widgets:
There are several options available after placing your widget. The options may vary depending on the widget.

Resize: Widgets that can be resized will have a blue line along their edges. You can resize it by touching and dragging the lines.
Colour: Set your widget to a different colour. You can access this by touching and holding the widget and then tapping Settings.
Transparency: Increase or decrease the widget’s transparency so that you can easily see it. You can access this by touching and holding the widget and then tapping Settings.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report).

Thank you for writing to us.
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support.
