Gmail crashing on the S22 Ultra is still unresolved. This has been happening for two years, forcing me to use the web version and email app to access my Gmail. It's 2025 but still there is no solution for it and yes I don't want to reset my mobile

The Gmail crashing issue on the S22 Ultra has been a persistent problem for many users, and unfortunately, a complete and permanent solution hasn't been officially released by either Google or Samsung. However, there are some troubleshooting steps you can try that might help resolve the issue:
* Clear Cache and Data:
* Go to Settings > Apps > Gmail.
* Tap on Storage.
* Tap on Clear Cache and then Clear Data.
* Restart your phone.
* Update Gmail App:
* Open the Play Store.
* Search for Gmail.
* Tap on Update if an update is available.
* Check for Software Updates:
* Go to Settings > Software update.
* Download and install any available updates for your phone's operating system.
* Disable Battery Optimization:
* Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery.
* Tap on Battery optimization.
* Find Gmail in the list and select Don't optimize.
* Try a Different Email App:
* If the issue persists, you can try using a different email app like Outlook or Yahoo Mail.
* Factory Reset (Last Resort):
* If none of the above solutions work, you can try performing a factory reset. However, this will erase all data from your phone, so make sure to back up your important files before proceeding.
If you've tried these steps and the issue still persists, you can try reaching out to Google Support or Samsung Support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific troubleshooting steps or information about potential fixes.
It's important to note that while these steps may help resolve the issue for some users, there's no guarantee that they will work for everyone. The issue may be related to a specific combination of software or hardware on your device, and a permanent fix may require a software update from Google or Samsung.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have already done everything you said and am using other email apps because there is no other solution. But I need to use the Gmail app as my primary email.

I am still hopeful for you. Please wait for one UI 7.0 which should reach S22 by this quarter end.

Yeah, waiting for it, but I don't think it will resolve it, as One UI 6 hasn't resolved the issue. I guess Samsung creates some logs or metadata that it stores even after clearing the cache and uninstalling the app; that's why even after an OS update, it's not resolved.
