Come on Samsung, It's been more than 3 months since we got our S20 phones and we still don't have access to 5G. You guys have really dropped the ball on this.
It's ridiculous to market the phone and sell it as a 5G device and then tell our service providers that the feature has to be uocked by some code or update. We paid your high asking price so we demand full features.

I didn't know Bahrain had a 5G network?? I also think you'll find that every device sold in a specific market needs to comply with local government and telco regulations - so it's not Samsung you should be complaining to. But the solution is easy - simply buy a 5G handset from a 5G market.

We have the network set up, and samsung phones sold here are 5G phones, officially for our market.
Service providers told us that Samsung needs to unlock the 5G capability. This answer has also been given to customers in Qatar.

addressed from long back and not solved yet. we bought 5g phone not to have 4g service. either to enable it for 5g or sell and market it as 4g device 😡😡😡

It has been 5 months since we got the phone and almost two months since the community manager said that the matter will be looked into. Still no 5G on our phones. this is ridiculous.

Its working fine as of yesterday, Batelco announced that their network now supports 5G S20 and Note 20. You have to add 5G service to your simcard *free of charge.
