Is the Galaxy S9+ eligible to get Android 11 update?

If a year old mid-range smartphones like A50, A70, etc can become eligible then why can't a mere 2.5 years old flagship be eligible for the same?

Yeah I completely agree to whatever you said! This is something which I seriously dislike both about Apple and Samsung that they tend to slow down their older phones by providing them buggy updates. This is really annoying.
