The latest security update for the Galaxy S23 lineup is now getting a wider rollout, following its limited release in the US earlier this month. This is the second new security update for the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra since the three phones were updated to Android 14/One UI 6.
The December update for the Galaxy S23 series sports a firmware version ending in BWKC, though this may be different for you depending on when the update arrives in your country. Right now, it is rolling out in a dozen or so markets, and more countries will get it over the coming days.
The December update only brings a newer security patch; everything else will remain the same as it was on the previous version of Android 14, so you may have to wait for future updates if you're hoping to get fixes for issues that you may be facing in One UI 6.0.
