Galaxy SLast week, Samsung released its February 2022 security patch, and the Galaxy Note 20 series was the first to get it. The South Korean firm has now released the new security update to the LTE and 5G variants of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
The LTE variants of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra are getting the February 2022 security update with firmware version G98xFXXUDEVA9 across Europe. For the 5G variants of the phones, the new update comes with firmware version G98xBXXUDEVA9, and it is currently available in the UK. More markets should get this update within the next couple of weeks.
While Samsung hasn’t revealed which vulnerabilities it has fixed with the February 2022 security patch, we expect those details to be published by the second half of next month.
