Galaxy SFirst thing to do after updating is to wipe the cache partition on your Samsung device, you'll need to access the Recovery Mode. Here's how you can do it:
Steps to Wipe Cache Partition:
* Turn off your phone. Ensure your device is completely powered down.
* Enter Recovery Mode. The button combination varies depending on your Samsung model. Here are a few common methods:
* Volume Up + Power button: Press and hold both the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously. Release them when the Samsung logo appears.
* Volume Up + Bixby (or Home) + Power button: Press and hold the Volume Up, Bixby (or Home), and Power buttons at the same time. Release them when the Samsung logo appears.
* Volume Up + Side button: For some newer models without a dedicated Power button, press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side button simultaneously. Release when the Samsung logo appears.
* With a USB-C cable connected (for some newer models): Plug your phone into a computer or USB-C headphones. Then, press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button until the Android Recovery screen appears.
* Navigate the Recovery Menu. Once in the Android Recovery menu, you'll see a list of options. Use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to scroll through the menu.
* Select "Wipe cache partition." Highlight this option using the Volume Down button.
* Confirm the selection. Press the Power button to select "Wipe cache partition."
* Confirm again if prompted. You might be asked to confirm your action. Use the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and then press the Power button.
* Reboot your device. Once the cache wipe is complete, the menu will reappear with "Reboot system now" highlighted. Press the Power button to restart your phone.
Important Notes:
* Wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data like photos, videos, or apps. It only removes temporary files that the system and apps have stored.
* It's often recommended to wipe the cache partition after a software update.
* The process might take a few seconds to a few minutes.
