Feelings of an old Samsung Fanboy(amidst OneUI7)

PART 1.

Dear Samsung India,

At this point I give up.. Not even hopeful for the one ui7 update on my S24Ultra.. Just make sure you get us a super early One Ui 8.. 

Let me tell you Samsung, I was a big fanboy few years ago and I am sure there were many just like me who were tech enthusiast and were excited for new innovations in the mobile industry lead by Samsung. Those days were the best for everything Samsung.. You guys used to listen to customer complaints and atleast tried to fix it even if the hardware and software was not as polished as it is right now.. 

But now it is getting worse everyday.. I am afraid that Samsung is slowly marching towards becoming the next Nokia.. And this makes me super sad that I will have to switch to Apple and invest in so much again to achieve the same ecosystem I have with Samsung..

Part2.
Even the fanboys need to call out the company for their own good and company's position in the future, as the situation is going from bad to worse by the passing day.. With the amount of resources I cannot believe that Samsung had to delay the update so much and even after that they are not able to achieve a stable version which is leading to a further delay..

It is presumed that for a short term sales boost in S25 Ultra, One Ui 7 is delayed in other phones.. You guys need to Innovate and provide new features for people to be excited about new phones launching every year..

Imagine from a customers point of view:
Removing features every year,
Zero Innovation,
Older phones getting green lines and pink lines and charging hefty for the display replacement,
Charging speeds same since Note 7 fiasco(2016),
Promising longer updates but not delivering on time,
No bump in battery capacity since S20 Ultra(2020) - same 5000 mah,
Removal of cover and screen protectors pre applied on the phones out of the box,
Price of flagship phones more than double compared to S9+ (2018),
Resale price for Samsung phones is trash compared to Apple which is reflected on their own Samsung Shop app,
End of functionality over esthetics approach (Functionality was the main reason why we were fanboys - ir blaster, sd card slot, head phone jack, charger in the box, earphones in the box, heart rate sensor in camera module, Bluetooth in S-Pen).

Part 3
Same for Tablets, Since Tab S7 series prices have almost doubled for a similar tablet today..

Most sad part is that Samsung US gives the best deals for upgrading from their old Samsung phones like they value their own product, why not by Samsung India? Also their launch offers are so exciting.. So they have increased their price too but they are offering best of the launch offers/discounts/exchange bonus.. While Indian customer has to pay almost double of what US customer pays for upgrading their old Samsung phones. We would have been okay with all the features removed and no innovation if the price was right for us too.. Why not the same deals in India?

Also please don't tell me that everything was removed from the box to save the planet. That is a complete scam by Apple followed by Samsung to increase their profits.. I got my phone, charger, cover, screen protector, buds in 5 different boxes with 5 different packaging each individually delivered seperately with each of them inside a poly bag.. This is when ordered from official Samsung Shop app.. So that is the biggest legal scam of recent times..

With every move Samsung makes I am motivated to shift to Apple. Because at this point Similar features, Similar pricing, Similar functionality. I am struggling to differentiate between both of them which was never the case few years back.. Earlier there were deal breaker features or hardware which was missing on IPhone which never made me want to switch to IOS..
But now, Just a bit of learning curve and atleast I'll get better resell value and on time updates.
I think it's the best time to start getting Apple products from now on (atleast for the flagship users) be it phone, tablet, smartwatch, wireless earbuds or even trackers like Smart Tags. Oh man will have to build it up all again..
