3. Clean the front camera, so that it can Take clear photos during face registration. To ensure that, you can Open camera app and judge the Picture quality of front camera, accordingly.
4. Re-Register your face , in a well lit room. Your face should visible clearly.
5*. (Make sure your friends aren't surrounding, while doing the steps 😂.. ALSO, CHANGE YOUR PHONE PASSWORD & DON'T SHARE IT TO ANYONE, ESPECIALLY YOUR FRIENDS 😂, as if they know your phone password then they can change anything of your phone including Face data).

Galaxy SReasons for Face ID Misidentification:
* Similar Facial Features:
* Face ID is very advanced, but it can sometimes struggle to distinguish between people with very similar facial features, especially close relatives like siblings or twins.
* Incorrect Face ID Setup:
* If the initial Face ID setup wasn't performed correctly, or if there were issues with the lighting or angle, it could lead to inaccuracies.
* Also if an alternate apperance was added, and the alternate appearance is to similar to the friends face.
* Software Glitches:
* Occasionally, software bugs can interfere with Face ID's performance.
* "Attention Aware" Feature:
* If the "Require Attention for Face ID" setting is turned off, the phone may unlock even if you're not looking directly at it, increasing the risk of misidentification.
* Someone added their face:
* It is possible that your friend, or another person has added their face as an alternate apperance to your face ID.
Troubleshooting and Solutions:
* Reset Face ID:
* The most effective solution is to reset your Face ID and set it up again carefully. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Reset Face ID. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to set it up in good lighting and from various angles.
* Check "Require Attention for Face ID":
* Ensure that the "Require Attention for Face ID" setting is turned on. This adds an extra layer of security by requiring you to look directly at the phone. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and toggle it on.
* Update Your Software:
* Make sure your phone's operating system is up to date. Software updates often include security improvements and bug fixes that can improve Face ID's accuracy.
* Review Alternate Appearance:
* Check your face ID settings for any alternate appearances that may have been added. If you see one that you did not add, delete it.
* Use a Strong Passcode:
* As a backup, use a strong, unique passcode that's difficult to guess. This provides an extra layer of security if Face ID fails.
* Be cautious:
* Be very aware of who has access to your phone, and that they do not have the opportunity to add their face to your Face ID settings.
By following these steps, you can significantly reduce the risk of your phone being unlocked by someone else.

Galaxy SDear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.
● If you are having difficulty unlocking with Face recognition, try the face registration again.
● Glasses, hats, masks, makeup, bangs, and beards can affect the recognition process. Adding an alternative look can help the device recognize you in different situations.
● Make sure you are in a well-lit area and the camera lens is clean.
● For best results, make sure your image is not blurry.
● Face recognition is less secure than Pattern, PIN, or Fingerprint.
● Keep in mind your device can be unlocked by someone that looks similar to you (such as a twin)
● If you are having difficulty unlocking with Face recognition, try the face registration again. Remove the current face data by opening Settings, and then tapping Biometrics and security. Tap Face recognition and then enter your credentials. You can now tap Remove face data to clear the facial recognition data so that you can have a fresh start.
If the issue still occurs, please visit the service centre for a physical device inspection. You can locate your nearest service centre with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
