FACEBOOK MESSENGER NOTIFICATION ISSUE

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone here experiencing issue with Facebook Messenger app? Just this month, I'm experiencing an issue with my messenger app. Notication is a bit erratic. Then, last week, and as of this moment, notifcations totally stops working. No pop-ups, No sounds, no icon. But, when I open the messenger, that's the only time I can see tons of chat. 

I looked up on the playstore for the reviews and tons of 1 star ratings were posted due to this issue. 

Also, I did all the troubleshooting I could find even drastically factory resetting my phone. But, none of it works. Has anyone/anybody here experiencing same issue? Have you able to resolve it?

*** I tried logging in my account on my husband's iphone, everything works fine. He also has a smartphone without a camera that he uses for work and its an android phone, and it works fine as well. But, my 2 Samsung smartphones; my old Note 20 Ultra and this S23 Ultra, nada at all.

Go to Settings > Battery and device care.
Tap Battery.
Scroll down and tap Background usage limits.
And add messanger app in 'never sleeping app' list

Thanks. As I mentioned above, I did all the troubleshooting I could find but, nothing works, even after factory resetting my smartphone and doing all the troubleshooting again. As of this writing. Messenger's notification is still not working. Though on iphone and macbook desktop it works fine. No issue at all.

Reset app preferences. Go to Settings > Apps > Tap on the 3 dots in the upper right corner > Reset app preferences > Reset. This will reset all of the notification settings for all of your apps, so you will need to go through and re-enable notifications for the apps that you want to receive notifications from.

Already did. Still, push notification on my Facebook Messenger is still problematic. 😔 I guess the app has a bug. There are a lot of reviews from the play store having the same issue.

most likely. there was an update in the messenger app on the play store but, the issue still persists. I hope it will be resolved the soonest time possible by the developers.

Thanks for the suggestion. As of the moment, my messenger is working fine all push notifs are working. I guess, the issue was resolved by the latest update. And no amount of troubleshooting could really fix it, not even factory resetting the phone.
