As a loyal Samsung user, I’d love to see two much-needed features in upcoming One UI updates:

  1. Network Speed Indicator: A simple status bar display that shows real-time download/upload speed. This is popular on other Android skins and helps users monitor connectivity at a glance.

  2. App Lock: A built-in app lock feature with fingerprint/pattern/password security for selected apps. It enhances privacy without the need for third-party apps.

Couldn't Agree More.

Samsung Flagships fail to deliver Basic Features which are provided even in entry level chinese Devices.

No third party apps gives us the trust of privacy.

Even if we download third party apps, they are not reliable and shows way too many ads

You can lock apps by using secure folder its not super convenient but it works nonetheless

Yeah but that's not very convenient. Also we have to hide the apps in secure folder and i think creating a secure folder results in extra usage of memory and storage.

You can add any app to secure folder then hold that app to add it homescreen and then uninstall the original app this way you can have the app on your homescreen even if the securefolder is hidden
