Docs and pdf not downloading in whatsapp

I am using S24 ultra, recently I updated whatsapp from playstore. After updating, my whatsapp not downloading any pdf, doc, xls documents, but image and video are downloading. I have pdf reader and MS office 365 app also. These all documents can be downloaded from any other app such as Outlook. But why not the shared files in whatsapp?. Can any of you help on this.?

Same happening to me. PDF and Documents not downloading. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app still the same issue. Looks like something is wrong on Samsung side rather than whatsapp.

Just found out from reddit that this issue is because of latest beta version of whatsapp. I went back to stable version and now all documents download correctly. It was indeed whatsapp's issue and not samsung's. Btw I am on S24 Ultra

Yes,I am unable to download in my S24ultra...you are correct. Not any fault in s24u..bt. in WhatsApp.

S23 ultra, I have same issue since last two days, I tried Adobe and foxit but same.  Somebody has to explain from samsung how to fix it.
