Dear Samsung,
After the latest update, almost every consumer has been having green line issues on the display. This physical damage is being done by software. So you must have taken the action to stop this and provide full support to your customers at no cost. As this is your fault for our damages, you are responsible. Official, unofficial, as well as out of warranty, every handset with this physical issue, you must compensate. Otherwise, we will take legal steps against the local customer center.

That is why I am going to take a step. I already talked to the customer care, but they kept telling me to pay for the new display (and the price is almost half of the new phone!). Then I talked to our government department, but they said they could do nothing because of our faulty government policy. Now I want to go to the local Police station. If they are also unable, I'll take personal steps against the local customer care service.

Try to file a case in consumer court i dont think police can do anything about such issues and customers care also can't help because samsung hasn't made any policy to help green line issues.

There was some scheme to free display replacement for s20 to s22 series only if they are under 3 yr old and have no physical damage you'll need to show purchase invoice.

But no such scheme for s23 and onwards series many midrange phones also got affected by this and they don't care at all.

I already called our consumer court as I told you before. They cannot help me. And I have no invoice as I bought it in 2022 from the USA. All docs are long gone. 😑

Even gov is not punishing them for this and no rules for customers 👏 👏 👏

Better buy oneplus or something else next what's point of buying a flagship who's display can't work more than a year or two

Nothing we can do against samsung we can fight in consumer court or change the mobile which gives warranty for display
