Dex not working

Samsung Dex is not showing up on the the laptop when I connect my Samsung galaxy s8 via hdmi to usb type C cable.

You can connect dex to a Monitor and TV without Dex station.. but for laptop you can't, cuz HDMI on Laptops are meant for Output and on the other hand the HDMI for Monitor and TV are meant for Input.

But it's also not working over phone charger cable. But as per Samsung site it should work over that.

Phone charger cable thing only works with the Dex which have support for Wireless Dex feature. Which is actually not available in S8.


Like here my s20 shows the DEX PC option..

At least, you have this feature, we m and f series users does not have it.
