Hello Guys,

I am using S9 purchase Jan 31st 2019 and updated the software with android version 9 and One UI Version 1.0 while i purchase.
I am facing two issues. One is when i restart the mobile. And another is the image displaying in wrong format (grey or blue color) immediately or after some minutes which took in same mobile when try to view from gallery or from camera view.

Steps as below.

1. After inserting the SD card with pictures took already with some other mobiles and encrypted before using in S9.
2. Took some picture which is stored in External Memory (SD Card) and visible in Gallery with proper Image.
3. After some seconds or minutes or hours, when we open the gallery and click on the image folder, its displays all thepicture icons properly. When we click on a specifc image, its not openly in proper jpg format, instead its diplaying with grey color or blue color.
4. Same way, if open My Files --> SD Card --> DCIM --> Camera, we can bale to see the file or files.. if you click on that to view the image. it will display in blue or grey screen.
5. When we restart the mobile, the DCIM folder in SD Card is deleted totally with all the old picture took from other mobiles and also the image which took in S9.

This is the Software bug need to fix and have to give a release.

I done the same what you told but they blame on my SD card. but it's working fine in all other mobiles. my SD card is 32 GB sandisk which is in good condition.
if it is corrupted, the mobile should not recognize. but
its recognizes the SD card,
show the folder structure,

if you took picture, it's get stored.
able to see the picture or video for some secs, minutes or hour. later, it's converting the file into some specific wrong format not able to view.

while restarting, the mobile deleting the DCIM folder and its files specifically even if you have files took from other mobiles and show other folders in SD card.

Then how cum the SD card is corrupted?

when I spoke about all these... they are not ready to listen and just reset factory setting and update the software. Recommended to use only Samsung SD card.

is that the solution ?
