Delayed notifications

Delayed gmail and whatsapp notifications. Sometimes notifications deliver without any sound and sometimes they appear when I unlock my phone. Kindly provide some solution.

Check permission
And allow them to run in the background
If that does not work reinstall WhatsApp

I did it but it's still not fixed.
