Dark mode not working on S9+ for Google maps

I changed the navigation settings to Night mode but still didn't work. Is it working for you?

dark mode is for Samsung OS and system related apps... for other apps it wont be applied, it needs to be provided with a dark mode in the app itself.... as YouTube and Twitter have those dark mode options within the app

Dark mode is available in YouTube and working fine on s9 plus. On maps, it's available but not working on this phone. it's provided by Google

first turn on navigation then tap setting and then map display and cboose night
