Today I updated my brand new Samsung s23 Base from one UI 5.1 to 6.1 and I have to say , I'm VERY disappointed.
From basic simple apps feeling buggy, and feeling like the phone has gotten much slower, plus battery life is a no, from getting a full day of battery to getting less then half.
The only thing that has improved though is the camera.
Overall i wouldn't recommend others to update to one UI 6.1 if they are still on 5.1.
As I feel that 5.1 is much more polished.
Because my phone is new and I don't have much on it,I'll most likely factory reset my phone to get back to 5.1, if I don't see any other improvements.
I'm curious to know if you recently received an update for your S23 phone. As far as I'm aware, all devices in the S23 series received the One UI 6.1 update some time ago and are now preparing for the upcoming One UI 7.0 update.
For S23 series we won't get One UI 6.1.1. That is for foldables and Flips. We however get One UI 6.1.1 features in August if last year can taken as precedent.
