Galaxy SHowever you can use another way to view Missed calls. In the Recents page click on Filters (see screenshot) and choose Missed calls when you want to view all the missed Calls.

Galaxy S1. There could be two types of missed calls. Calls that we disconnect go into 'Rejected calls' and hence those need to be looked up separately
2. Everytime dialer app is closed, filter gets reset.
My use case is that whenever I am out of a meeting, I just open dialer and run through list of calls to see which ones I missed and call them back.
For now, rolled back to default color palette and will stick to it until this issue is addressed.

Galaxy SAfter couple of hrs.. it returns to the same monotone color and not red .. I have to choose a different palette then return to the default palette again to change it to red ... any clue why?!?
