Can we change Gmail shortcuts buttons in notification panel?

Wish to have "Delete" and "Read" options as shortcut tabs for GMail in notification drop down panel.

So that we can delete or mark mail as read from notification drop down only.

Same can be done for sms messages. Can it be done for GMail?

Go to in app setting
General setting
Default notification action
Choose delete
