Can i use Canadian mobile in India?

Hi, 
My brother gave me a s23 which he bought in Canada, and I live in India. I can use my phone only on a 4g mobile network of Jio but on Jio fiber it supports 5g. so I have some doubts as I am not that much tech guy.

1. As mobile is already updated in April from Canada will I get more updates in India?

2. when I am downloading Samsung Wallet or Google Wallet they are not showing the option to add a PAN card, UPI etc. not getting the option for the Indian region. 

3. what is the drawback of using Canadian mobile in India

Yes bro you can easily to use but first time you have to use Canadian Sim only after that you can use any Sim of any country.

I can use a mobile in India, my problem is that I am not getting an option in the app for the Indian region and will I receive an update as normal?

Yes You Can User Your Device In India But You Will Have To Use Canadian Sim First Then You Can Use Indian Sim
