I was wondering why samsung is not enabling the full support of camera2 api for the samsung galaxy s9 and s9+. I hate the fact that all the photos taken on anything other than the stock camera **bleep**.
Very hard to port gcams for the samsung devices. I am particularly worried about the quality of photos from Instagram and whatsapp.
if you use S series then some older gcam version might work. Gcam do capture nice pics compared to other brands phone camera, not sure about Samsung though.
That is what I'm using. 5.1 by arnova which is almost stable. But I miss the original Google camera output. This is nothing close to what the nexus 6p I used to have.
