Camera - Portrait Mode

I have Samsung's S21FE.

For portrait mode there is only 1x and 3x zoom.

I want 2x zoom as well. How do I get that?

That's because your device has 3x optical zoom. Anything between 1x and 3x, as well as those above 3x is hybrid zoom. So, you won't get 2x portrait mode.

My old s20 plus had 2x zoom ...it was pretty good . This 3x zoom is useless in s21 FE.

It had a different telephoto lens configuration. What happened to your s20 plus? Why did you downgrade to s21fe?

Water damage man...i got careless since it had a ip68 rating

Oh, that's the sad reality, we can't trust this so called waterproof rating. These companies won't provide warranty for this too.
Did you dip it in water? Or was it normal rain?

That's terrible. A water proof phone can't even resist rain! What would happen if it's dipped in water.

Actually the back panel had come off somehow ..i guess if the phone is wet for certain amount of time, the waterproof glue will wear off

Oh the back panel issue has been there for A52 series and s20 series. I think that's why water entered. You might not have noticed this before the incident due to back cover.
