Samsung has always brought an upgrade to convert Galaxy Ultra device into an Iphone like battery device. S23 Ultra when originally brought and after these months post all the upgrades has actually been a degrade for the battery. Is anything going to be done about this or is it a strategy to force handset upgrades? Time to move away from Galaxy devices I suppose!!!

Yeah, I totally agree with you.
Let's hope for a better scenario this time since Samsung has used a very efficient processor that has not only remarkably increased performance but also increased battery life in comparison to previous generations. So let's hope for the best. I'll give you an update soon. So please follow.

But that is exactly the point...This is not the only time...I have been a Note and Ultra user sunce many years now and I clearly see a pattern...current hansets start loosing all the juice and then Samsung comes up saying that new handsets handle things better with improved performance...how can handsets start with excellent battery for more than 24 hours when new and then in a couple of years start getting sloppy...that too since many years now...Dont you fing something fishy n slimy here...I do now after all thes years...this love with note had started from note3 onwards...

Yes, you are correct. I have encountered this issue with my NOTE 10 and S20 Plus. Initially, the battery life was satisfactory, but over time and with subsequent updates, it gradually deteriorated. In my opinion, I believe Samsung's own Exynos processor may be responsible for this issue. Additionally, in the S22 Ultra, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was manufactured using Samsung's technology. From the 8 Gen 2 onwards, Snapdragon has shifted its contract to another company called TSMC, which has better track record. Therefore, this is the last time I will place my trust in Samsung regarding this matter.

If the situation does not improve, I may need to consider alternative options.

Not thought through yet...but not sure even if I end up with one of those chinese counterparts...or a pro max...which will the last option...have heard that pixel has improved but they are even worse with their battery life...one plus maybe ...tough call

Oh, Pixel will serve as a better choice. As of now, its battery and performance are both quite poor. The Tensor chipsets were being manufactured by Samsung. In the upcoming series, i.e., the Pixel 10 series, the chipsets will be manufactured by TSMC, which will make the Pixel series an overall good package.
