I recently faced challenges while trying to install banking apps within the secure folder on my device. Upon contacting customer care, I was informed that a new security feature now prevents users from installing banking apps in the secure folder.

Isn't this unfair? Aren't banking apps supposed to be secure?

I specifically chose Samsung for its Knox security feature to ensure the safety of my financial data. How can a security update now prevent the installation of banking apps in the secure folder?

It's not a problem from Samsung. Samsung is not restricting anything. Banking and payment apps doesn't allow server access to any Deafault security apps.

Last you can make a call you'r bank to allow then as i use phonepay in secure folder after requesting to phonepay to allow for this device bit also got rejected from Gpay nd bank. So this works in this way. I hope you'll understand.

Plz Accept solution clicking on 3dot right side nd Do follow for Regular Updates.

I am already using Gpay and PhonePe without any issue.
I don't know if it get uninstalled then it will work again or not.

But the problem is with banking apps be it of any bank.

The CSR confirmed that this has happened post release and even i have noticed the same.

For your kind information, the banking apps are still working on lower version of secure folder. This problem is only occurred after update.

Sms is not whatsapp. Secure folder wont allow any app to send sms. So we have to install banking apps outside the secure folder. And there is no native app encription. For me sf is useless. Moved over to vivo which has native app encryption. Bye bye sammy.
