Auto Rotate working improperly after update

Quite annoyed. When I turn my phone in a direction auto Rotate applies and rotate the screen in opposite direction.  Eg.  When my phone is in my hand normally the auto rotate change the screen to landscape

Thanks. Restarting resolve the issue. But its really painful to do this each morning

Has this issue been looked into. I am also facing this issue even now.
