At times my auto brightness feature acts weird by boosting the brightness too much and I am noticing this from the last 2 days.

And it also resumes working normal, how it actually has to.

Is this a bug and if yes, will there be a software rolled out to fix this issue?

I don't think it is a bug, I too have the similar experience with my S22 Ultra

What I do instead is go ahead and turn on the "Extra Dim" feature in the night along with Eye Comfort Shield so it will be normal.

Hope this helps ✌️
