Samsung is resting on the glory of its past just like Nokia once did and we all know how that turned out. I hope Samsung learns from that and humbles itself and put in some dedication by showing more care for the customers who have spent their money based on vague promises.
If this continues, they might indeed deliver 7 updates, but over the course of 14 years.
