What about those of us who spent 43 to 60 k in purchasing S7 and edge?

Dude don't cry about it if you don't know how an organisation works. advertisement and software updates are handled by two different departments. sometimes advertisements are handled by third party companies hired by Samsung .

it is understandable if Samsung doesn't have time to upgrade S5 but S6 and S7 are 2015 and 2016 flagships. They should get at least 2 years of updates. S6 till end of 2017 and S7 till end of 2018.

all Samsung flagships with the galaxy s being the only exception get to see 3 different firmware . the s7 (edge) came out with marshmallow, was later updated to nougat and will get Oreo.
