The new software update feels more like a gimmick than anything else.

The UI is choppy, the animations are annoying 

Apps like yt music keep crashing. Really disappointed from Samsung. Their strength(the skin on top of Android) is their biggest weakness now with the new update. Feels like they have pushed the update just for the sake rather than to enrich and provide the customers with a new experience

I always feel what comes with the phone is the best the updates actually spoils the whole fun of the phone.

I mean users somehow want an update. This forum is cluttered with requests, demands and THREATS(literally) for updates.
So they might have thought,he_ll if they are not giving us time to perfect it, let us dump this half baked thing.

I feel they had enough of time and nevertheless if they weren't prepared they shouldn't have given the update no matter what threats. They are a big company they have a reputation to maintain and shouldn't give in the peer pressure

This is not peer pressure because none of the other OEMs rolled out 12 at this big scale.

It is. Oneplus has rolled out android 12. Even realme is giving out android 12 upgrade
