Android 10 for S8 and Note 8

It's a shame that Samsung only provides 2 years of latest software compatibility for their handsets. 

One of my friend was about to get the 512GB S10 plus but he refused to buy that when he came to know about the software update policy of Samsung.

 There's no point of buying a 512GB or 1TB storage samsung phone if we're getting only 2 years of latest software support. People but that much storage phones because they expect to use it for 3-5 years. Not everyone are rich enough upgrade their phone every 2 years ( Also seeing the trend of bringing only minimal changes every year). 

Samsung's competitors like Apple, Huawei, OnePlus and Google are way ahead in software updates and support.

No doubt samsung makes one of the best smartphones in the market right now but building the customer trust is also very crucial.

I hope Samsung changes their software update policy and support the 2017 flagship smartphones with the latest software and skin just like they did with their smartwatch lineup.

completely agree with you dear samsung updates policy worst than ever i am using J7 Max i am getting only Android 7 to Android 8 update still not getting Android 9 update....Worst service in mobile industry and their days are actually gone that's why.....Oneplus cover in premium smartphones market nd Xioami nd realme cover in mid range market their position is gone day 2 day....✍

Even Google pixel devices don't get 5 years software updates.... if u r curious about more than 2 major software updates oneplus is a good option.

I'm not asking for 5 years of software update 😂. Atleast 3 years would be decent. I know that there are other companies with better software updates but I prefer Samsung's hardware over them but just wish that they do something with the software updates. Otherwise it's better to switch
