I have an S23 Ultra bought in May 2023.
Few weeks back, while I was getting a call the screen froze and the phone stopped working.
I tried to restart it but it directly went into a bootloop and did not restart the whole night.
In the morning, it finally started in recovery mode and started giving a pop-up saying - 'Serious Software Issue - Contact customer care or Update Phone if any update is Pending.'
As there was no Update pending, I visited the Customer centre and they told me that they will run the Software Update from their end which should resolve the issue to which I agreed. However, after they run the Update, the speaker and camera of the phone stopped working. Upon checking they informed that the Motherboard is fried and replacement cost is approximately INR 35,000/-.
I have used the phone for hardly 2.5 years and getting such software issues in a flagship phone is really disappointing.

That's very disappointing! Need to escalate this matter. With no actual faults of the user, they are facing issues because of software updates

Before even going to service centre, it started giving the pop-up about software issue. And for any software update run by Authorised Service Centres, should'nt Samsung take responsibilty
