I recently bought a new 45W charger along with a 5A cable. I don't see much difference when compared to using a 25W charger. It still takes about an hour for full charge (15 to 100%). The 25W charger was doing the same in about 75 - 80 mins. So I am saving only about 15-20 mins. Or is something wrong with my battery?! Does any of your S24U or plus charge faster than 60 mins ?

PS: I am using s24+!

The difference in charging time between Samsung's 25W and 45W chargers is small because phones only use full 45W briefly. Charging slows down after 50% to reduce heat and protect the battery. Most Samsung phones are optimized for 25W, so the real-world speed boost is just 10-15 minutes. This slower charging helps extend battery life in the long run.

I have a S24 Ultra, and for a few days, I was using the 25W charger. Then I switched to the 45W one, and just like you said, there's no huge difference

Generally people have misconstrued and abused fast charging feature.

Fast charging is to be used in dire situations when charge is less than 10% and the person is on the move.

Besides fast charging erode battery life. As said above a 25W charger with normal charging speed should keep the phone and us happy.

No. 45w or 65W or 25W if used for normal charging wont seriously impact your phone. I have S24 and A16. I use 45W charger on both. Phones are designed to draw required current irrespective of charger capacity as long as voltage is correct.
