If you're moving from One UI 6.1 or even One UI 7 beta, here’s my advice for a smooth setup:
✅ Backup your personal files to external storage 📂
✅ Make a Smart Switch backup (just in case, but don’t use it) 🔄
✅ Do a Google Backup on your old device ☁️
Now, set up your S25 Ultra from scratch using Google Backup only - it'll install all your apps from the Play Store.
❌ Avoid transferring settings, Good Lock configs, or layouts. Manually redo your settings for the best performance. Yes, it’s tedious, but worth it!
I initially used Smart Switch, and my S25 Ultra felt laggy with stutters. Sometimes, old configs don’t play well with One UI 7.
