message app doesn't give on screen delivery reports. hectic to see and its annoy

default samsung message app doesn't give the delivery report to user on screen like double arrows in whatsapp. its hard to see that message delivered or not? and separate notification tone annoys us. i am using galaxy on nxt. android naugout.

Thanks for being with Samsung and sharing your concern. We would like to inform you that please turn on the delivery report option to get it please find the settings below :-
Navigate to apps >> Messages >> Settings >> More Settings >> Text Messages >> Delivery report>> Turn on.

delivery report is on but still i am not seeing delivery report

i cannot see the msg delivery as double arrows kind a fashion. every time i have to check that from my message options button.

it is 2020 and samsung still does not successed to bring normal (double arrow) delibery report simble to its messenger.
